Introducing Java Card

Most smartcards are not programmable by the end user. Cyberflex Access is a card that can be programmed with Java.

Cyberflex Access speaks Java Card version 2.0. This is a small set of Java, tailored for smartcards. Among other differences, Java Card does not have garbage collection, and does not have types int, long, float, double.
